After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, home to one of Africa's largest elephant populations and majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive. The Tarangire River acts as a magnet for wildlife, providing excellent opportunities to spot large herds of elephants, lions lounging in the acacia trees, leopards, and an impressive variety of bird species.
This morning, explore the scenic Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and incredible birdlife including thousands of pink flamingos. After lunch, continue to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and your luxury lodge situated on the crater rim. Experience a full day of exploration in the Serengeti's diverse ecosystems. Today you'll explore the northern reaches of the Serengeti, an area known for its diverse landscape and excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. If traveling during migration season (July-October), you may witness the spectacular river crossings. After lunch at camp, visit a traditional Maasai village where you'll be welcomed with traditional dances and have the opportunity to learn about their fascinating culture, visit a local school, and purchase authentic handcrafted souvenirs directly from the artisans.
After a final breakfast in the Serengeti, you'll board a scheduled flight back to Arusha, offering spectacular aerial views of the landscapes you've been exploring. Upon arrival in Arusha, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and have time for souvenir shopping at the Cultural Heritage Center. Later, you'll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, concluding your Ultimate Tanzania Experience with memories that will last a lifetime.
